Author and entrepreneur, Channa Wijesekara has launched his sixth book on wood crafting.
The launch took place at the Lavender Hall, BMICH recently.
Wijesekara’s books, that started initially with Lee Weda Sandaha Bhawithayata Ganena Ath Ayudha (Hand Tools for Carpentry), has been recognised and approved by the wood-based industries fraternity. The books, with their comprehensive content and graphics, are useful reading for architects, interior designers, furniture designers, retail employees, and others interested in designing and producing fine furniture. The set of books will be a valuable resource for everyone interested in contemporary and traditional furniture manufacturing.
Wijesekara is an incorporated civil engineer with wood-based industry experience of over 40 years.
He is the founder chairman of Leema Creations.
