Sumudu Chathurani promoted

Veteran journalist and author Sumudu Chathurani Jayawardena was promoted as Deputy Editor of our sister paper Silumina yesterday. Besides her journalistic career at Lake House, she has been an award winning novelist and visiting lecturer at Kelaniya and Colombo Universities. She is also serving as a member of the State Literary Advisory Council.
