The opening ceremony of Beruwala base hospital’s renewed AEU units Ward Number 2 and 4 and the distribution of some medical equipment to the hospital sponsored and organised by “China Fort Emergency relief“ was held at the hospital premises recently under the patronage of Dr. Awanthi Rupasinghe.
Member of Parliament, Marjan Faleel and China Fort Mosque Society Chairman, Al Haj A.H.M Mukthar was the chief guests.
The Secretary of China Fort Mosque Society, Al Haj M.M.M. Shihab, Chairman of China Fort Emergency Relief President, Al haj A.W.M. Nowfer, Chairman of Beruwala Urban Council, Al haj Mazahim Mohamed, Government Haj Committee Chairman Al haj Alkem Uwais, Abdeen Jewellers Chairman, Al haj Izadeen Abdeen, Moosan International Chairman, Al haj Muslim Salahudeen, Beruwala Police OIC, Lalith Padmakumara, Kalutara Nagoda General Hospital Director, S.M.P. Karunaratne, Multilac and Mactiles Kalutara branch Director, Ismail A. Cadar were among the participants. Moosan International Chairman, Al haj Muslim Salahudeen promised to donate Rs.5 million for the development of the hospital.
