Trinity College has picked its award-winning boxer Attaab Manzil to captain the rugby team at the next inter school season.
He has been playing for the senior side from the year 2020 and was guided in the correct way by the former coach Kavinda Jayasena.
Manzil can fit in as fly-half and full-back and has also successfully represented Trinity in boxing. His deputy will be Number Eight Chamendra Dhanapala and both captain and vice captain were awarded rugby colours a few days back. The Trinitians are blessed with talented coaches in Fazil Marija as the head coach his deputy Buddika Thalagampola.
Jageeth Basnayake, Thenuka Fernando, Thisanga Dissanayake, Anuhas Kodithuwaku, Harith Samaraweera, Upek Gammudali, Sachindu Wanasekara, Senual Alexander, Yasiru Ariyawansa Ravin Illangaratne, Hadan Faizal, Lakindu Herath and Venuka Kumarage have been retained in the squad from last season.
