The third annual Sri Lanka Telecom-Mobtel Sabuddhi Sports Literature Awards 2022 will be held on December 2 at the Sports Ministry Auditorium.
Organised by the Sabuddhi Literature Circle, it aims to recognise sports literature in the print, electronic and social media.
“This is the only initiative that appreciates the literature of sports journalists. Our objective is to recognise their services and felicitate them with the support of Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel and the Sports Ministry,” said Sirinama Rajapakse, CEO of Sabuddhi Literature Circle.
Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe and Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel Chairman Rohan Fernando will present the awards.
The awards are for literature during the period October 1, 2021 to September 30 2022. Awards will be presented to the Best Sports Photographer, Best Sports Publisher, Best Sports scientific book and Best Sports Literature Research book. In addition, publishers of University sports literature will also be considered for awards.
