Sri Lanka lost to China (14-31) and Malaysia (19-26) in their opening two matches of the third and final leg of the Asian Rugby Sevens in Dubai yesterday.
Later Sri Lanka lost 17-33 against the strong Hong Kong team and were relegated to the Plate segment.
Today, Sri Lanka will play against either South Korea or the Philippines at 2.55 pm (SL time) in the Plate semi-finals while in the Cup semi-finals, championship favourites and first-leg and second-leg Cup winners Hong Kong will play against UAE at 3.25 pm (SL Time).
The Cup final will start today at 8.20 pm (SL time).
