Police said that several roads around Galle Face will be closed while traffic will be restricted on some other roads on February 1,2,3 for the Independence Day (4) from 5 am to 12 noon.
However, traffic police officers on duty have been instructed to allow students and residents of those roads to travel without obstruction during the relevant hours on the days when this special traffic plan is in effect, Western Province Traffic Division DIG Roshan Wijesinghe said.
