Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia Dr. Husain Al-Musallam will grace the postponed 19th Asian Games 2022 Official Fun Run that will be held at the Port City in Colombo on February 7.
The 19th Asian Games that was to be held in 2022 was postponed due to the spread of the pandemic.
This Fun Run will be held to inaugurate the Asian Games to be held from September 23 in Hangzhou, China. It will be attended by nearly 700 guests and six school children will do the run while a host of national athletes too will attend.
There will also be a cultural pageant lined up while guests from China will also attend.
This Fun Run will be held on this day in other countries such as Maldives, Bhutan, Singapore, Qatar, Nepal, Pakistan, East Timor, Philippines, Vietnam and Brunei Darussalam with Sri Lanka belonging to this group. (TBR)
