State Tourism Minister, Diana Gamage has been appointed as the Vice President of the Sri Lankan and European Parliamentary Friendship Association (SLEPFA), in consideration of the long term involvement of the European community and the efforts made in securing large scale foreign direct investment to Sri Lanka in the recent past.
“Currently the State Minister in serious discussions with number of European countries including UK to not only secure foreign
direct investment (FDI) but also to attract more tourists from the region to Sri Lanka," said Coordinating Secretary to State Tourism Ministry, Dr. Arosha Fernando.
State Minister Gamage has obtained her Bachelors degree from Legal studies followed by a Masters of Business Administration both from UK and has been serving as a Senior Consultant in the business administration and management areas for a long period. - SS
