The place I like the most is Sigiriya. It is a fortress built by King Kashyapa and is in Matale. Sigiriya has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This rock fortress is nearly 100m high. Attractions at Sigiriya include the Lion’s Gate and the Mirror Wall landscaped gardens and caves. Many people would like to visit Sigiriya because it is a historical place. It is one of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning and is the most visited historic site in Sri Lanka.
It's our duty to protect this wonderful rock fortress.
