Southern Motor Sports Club which was formed in the year 1997 is set to celebrate its Silver Jubilee on Sunday on a grand scale.
The Club is one that has continued its activities throughout the last 25 years though there were many other hindrances like Covid-19 and other disturbances in the country. Though the Club conducted its Eliyakanda Hill Climb last year they were not able to have the Awards ceremony but this year’s Awards ceremony will be held along with last year’s ceremony to coincide with the Silver Jubilee celeb rations.
This week will also see the Club felicitate all who supported the Southern Motor Sports Club (SMSC) reach greater heights in the racing field while opening new avenues for young drivers and riders in the Southern Province.
