Jaya Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital emerged as the champions defeating Ampara General Hospital in the final in the cricket tournament organized by the Association of Health Management Service Officers held at the Kandy Police Stadium and Gatambe Stadium recently.
A total of 24 teams representing hospitals and health institutions from all districts across the island participated in the tournament. An organizing committee official said the main objective of organizing this tournament was to develop health and employee relations in health institutions across the island as well as to develop brotherhood and job satisfaction.
