The third Central Premier League (CPL) cricket tournament organized by Veyangoda Central College will be played today, March 26 at the Veyangoda Bandaranayake Middle School ground starting at 8 a.m.
The tournament will have past students divided into their respective Houses named Parakrama, Vijaya, Tissa and Gemunu, collectively called Veyangoda Bandaranayake Api and organized by the Facebook group for the first time in Sri Lanka.
Organisers said the event will take in a carnival-like atmosphere and spectators will have the opportunity to savour street food and refreshments during this tournament.
Students who are based overseas will be able to watch the proceedings live on Youtube on Events.Streams,lk channel and on facebook Veyangoda Bandaranayake Api page.
