Applied Forensic Research Sciences (AFRS) is India’s first Forensic Science student group in which they conduct webinars on useful topics, forensic science and crash courses on cyber forensic, various types of competitions, ambassador program, volunteer ship programs, Student Skills Development Programs and workshops. AFRS happily announces the Detective Short Story Writing Competition in 2023 in which any writer can participate.

In 2023 also AFRS is willing to select students worldwide - those who have writing skills. Sri Lankan school children, university students and those who are interested are highly welcome to participate in this competition as there is no age limit.

As you have to register before you submit the short story you are requested to contact the country representative Student Ambassador. AFRS is willing to publish your selected stories in AFRS Booklet Magazine. The top three best short story winners will be awarded with a cash prize and the top 10 best short story authors will get valuable e-certificate for both participation and winning. Moreover, your short stories will be shares among all social media platforms of AFRS to reach a wide range of readers across the world.

AFRS invites all interested participants to register to the competition before April 3 and submit their Detective Short Story on or before April 5.
