The tourist train service Seethawaka Odyssey, which was only operational on Sundays, will also be available on Saturdays due to the increasing demand, Additional General Manager, Operations, V.S. Polwattage said.
The Seethawaka Odyssey’s Saturday timetable will differ from its Sunday schedule and will commence at 8.30 am from Colombo Fort Railway Station and return from the Waga Station at 6.00 pm, he said. The Odyssey’s Saturday itinerary will also include stops at scenic locations including bathing spots.
