Sri Lanka Athletics (SLA) will conduct the 101st National Athletic Championships from July 28 to 30 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Diyagama.
Entries for men and women close on July 10 and must be sent to Saman Kumara Gunawardana, the Secretary of SLA. Late entries close on July 17 but the entry fees will be increased.
The events to be conducted for men are as follows: 100m, 200 M, 400 M, 800 M, 1500 M, 5000 M, 10000 M, 3000 M St Ch, 110 M Hurdles, 400 M Hurdles, High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Pole Vault, Shot Put, Discus Throw, Javelin Throw, Hammer Throw and Decathlon.
Standards for men are as follows: 100m-11.00 secs, 200m-22.00, 400m-49.00, 800m-1:57.00, 1500m-4:04.00, 5000m-15:25.00, 10,000m-32:30.00, 110mH-15.80, 400mH-56.00, 3000mSC-9:45.00, High Jump 1.96-m, Pole Vault-4.20m, Long Jump-7.20 m, Triple Jump-15.00m, Shot Put-12.00m, Discus Throw-57.00 m, Hammer Throw-36.00m, Javelin Throw-62.00m, High Jump-1.90m and Pole Vault-4.00m.
Standards for women are as follows:
100m-12.60, 200m-25.80, 400m-58.00, 800m-2:17.00, 1500m-4:55.00, 5000m-18:20.00, 10000m-39:00.00, 100mH-16.00, 400mH-64.00, 3000mSC-11:00.00, High Jump-1.58, Pole Vault 3.00m, Long Jump 5.65m, Triple Jump 12.00m, Shot Put 10.50m, Discus Throw 32.00m, Hammer Throw 28.00m, Javelin Throw 38.00m, High Jump 1.55m, Pole Vault 2.80m.
