President Ranil Wickremesinghe has entrusted the work of the agreements and negotiations reached with Singapore to Chief of Staff Sagala Ratnayaka until it is assigned to the relevant Ministers.
Discussions also took place on sending the wind and solar energy products to be built in the Northern and the Eastern Provinces to Singapore using modern techniques during President Wickremesinghe’s visit to Singapore.
It has been decided to handle the affairs related to the talks held by the President in Singapore under the Office of the President until the ministries are assigned to them. The wind and solar electricity produced and exchanged between the two countries will be discussed in the future.
