PDN Prasadi, the former national assistant coach, has been selected as the national netball coach.
Her first challenge is the Nations Cup netball tournament which will be held in Singapore from October 22 to 28.
The Sri Lanka Netball Federation said that only one more application came with her for the job and Prasadi was selected based on the criteria.
Prasadi represented the Sri Lanka team for a long time and under her leadership they were able to win the Asian Championship in 1997. Prasadi worked as an assistant coach of the team at the World Cup under Thilaka Jinadasa who previously worked as the National coach. (TBR)
