Hasar Hameen, the president of the Sri Lanka Motor Sports Federation (SLMSF) says that the Speed Katukurunda racing series organized by them for the third time has been scheduled to be held on December 2 and 3 at the Katukurunda airstrip.
In view of the unfortunate fate of motor sports in Sri Lanka due to the Covid pandemic situation and the economic recession, a decision has been made to hold the third stage of the speed motor racing series for two years.
According to the SLMSF arrangements have been made for the races to be held in partnership with all the associations registered in the Sri Lanka Motor Sports Federation.
