Four badminton players from Sri Lanka won laurels at the Bahrain Junior International Series 2023, held in Manama in the under-15 category as they produced a promising performance, making their mark and earning well-deserved recognition by clinching two podium endings.

The Sri Lankan duo of Isuri Attanayaka and Sithumi de Silva proved a cut above the rest in the U-15 Girls Doubles category as they clinched the championship title, outplaying their Bahraini opponents in the final.

Attanayake and De Silva defeated Christabel Ano and Linet Mariam, with a score of 21-2, 21-12.
