Lions’ rugby 7s
All arrangements have been finalized for the Lions’ Rugby Sevens organized by the Trinity College Class of 99 which will take place on November 11 at the Bogambara Stadium.
There will be more than a dozen teams representing the old boys of Trinity, St. Anthony’s, Dharmaraja, Kingswood, Vidyartha, St. Sylvester’s, St. Peter’s, Wesley, St. Joseph’s, Isipathana, DS Senanayake, Royal and S. Thomas’. These details were revealed at a media briefing held at the school auditorium yesterday.
Titan CC win
Titans Sports Club beat Assex Cricket Club by nine wickets in a Kandy District Cricket Association – Qualifying Tournament match played at the Prisons ground at Pallekelle.
Batting first Assex CC scored 132 all out in 36.2 overs. In reply Titans CC scored 133 for one wicket in 12.5 overs.
