One hundred persons from Anuradhapura, Puttalam, Chilaw and Kurunegala who have made contribution towards the country’s social welfare had been selected for honorary titles. From left Provincial Correspondents Praneeth Nuranga (Sirasa), B.G. Chathuranga (Lankadeepa), Chitraratna Kaluarachchi (Lake House), Indika Rangajeewa (ITN), Prabath Namal (Sirasa) and B.G. Dharmakeerthi (Swarnavahini) after receiving their honorary titles.

The Sri Lanka Interfaith Harmony and Philanthropics Society granted honorary title of “Madya Abhimani Kala Keerthi Deshabandu Sri Gaurawa” to six Anuradhapura district journalists at a ceremony at the Bharatheendra Maha Pirivena, Dharamapala Mawatha, Anuradhapura yesterday.

Chief Advisor Ven. Modarawane Amilasiri Thera and Secretary Mrs. Amila Ruwani Samarakoon of Sri Lanka Interfaith Harmony and Philanthropics Society also participated in the event representing the Organisation.
