The 27th SLT Eliyakanda Hill Climb Organised and conducted by Southern Motor Sports Club is set for February 24 with around 100 drivers and 100 riders competing for supremacy on this day.
According to the organizers, competitors are hoping to set new records for two wheelers and four wheelers held by Jaden Gunawardena and Ashan Silva in 2021.
Group T&J Open for Diesel & Petrol will see the battle between Darin Weerasinghe and the father and son Casim and Oshraq Wahab.
The events for bikes are Group Standard Motor cycles up to 125cc, Group M: Standard Modified Motorcycles over 100cc up to 125cc 2T, Group M-One Make Motocycles Yamaha FZ 160, Group M One Make Motor Yamaha cycles 160, Group M Modfied Motor Cycles 250cc, Super Sports Trail, Group M Street Trail Motor Cycles 175cc up to 250cc, Group M-Street Trail Motor Cycles over 175cc up to 250 4T, Group M One make Motorcycles Kawasaki Tracker 250 250cc 4T, Group Super Motard 250cc 4T, Group SM Super Motard 250cc 4T, Group Supper Motard Open, Group, SM Sport Touring Motor Cycles up to 600cc, Group M Sports Touring Motorcycles over 700cc, Group M M over 400cc over 400cc up to 600cc, Group – Motorcycles Over 900cc upto1000cc Super Sport, Group M Automatic Transmission Scooter.
