The Trustees of Al Masjidul Bhadriyeen, Nawala Jummah Masjid, Rajagiriya made a donation to the President’s Fund for the children in Gaza.
The trustees of the mosque handed a cheque to Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Vidura Wickremanayake at his office, Sethsiripaya, recently.
The Trustees of Al Masjidul Bhadriyeen, Nawala Jummah Masjid, Rajagiriya who handed over the donation were M. Abu Haniffa, Ifnee Shuaib and Mohideen Cader.
Mohideen A Cader said that the donation was from the collection from the members of the congregation of the Nawala Jummah Masjid. “It was heartening to note that the enthusiastic response from the members of the congregation to help these deserving children in Gaza who are suffering for no fault of theirs,” Cader said.
