Four remanded on drug charges

The Colombo Magistrate’s Court on Friday ordered four persons including two naval officers to be remanded until May 9 for having a stock of narcotics.

The suspects were previously being held under detention orders after they were arrested by the Mulleriyawa Police and were produced before the Colombo Additional Magistrate Tharanga Mahawatte on Friday.

The suspects were arrested while in possession of 434 grams of ‘Ice’ (crystal methamphetamine).
