CameraLK, a camera retailer in Sri Lanka, in collaboration with Sony, orchestrated ‘Alpha Connect Day 2024’, a photo and video competition.
The event, which offered prizes to the value of Rs. 10 million rupees, unfolded on March 23 at Trace City Colombo.
The competition featured two distinct categories, photography, and videography, each offering coveted prizes to participants.

Pavithra Dasun emerged victorious in the photography category, with Chalanga Sindujan De Silva securing the runner-up position. Ranga Piumal Suriyage was awarded the Judges’ Favourite in the photography category.
In the videography category, Asanka Nayanasrikantha Peramuna claimed the top spot, while Lakshitha Madushan received the Judges’ Favourite award.
Winners of ‘Alpha Connect Day 2024’
In the photography category, the grand prize comprised the latest Sony 7CR camera paired with a 24-70GM2 lens. The videography category offered the Sony FX30 camera and Sony 10-20G lens to its top winner.
Spanning across Sri Lanka, Cambodia, and Bangladesh simultaneously, Alpha Connect Day 2024 – Sri Lanka attracted 200 people.
