Over 3,420 job seekers pass Korean language examination

Nearly 3,580 Sri Lankan foreign job seekers seeking placement in the fields of fisheries and the manufacturing sectors in Korea sat for the Korean language proficiency examination conducted by the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) recently.

Of them, 3,422 passed the examination and the percentage of those who have passed the examination is 95.6 percent, a senior Manager of the Kurunegala SLBFE Regional Office, J. Kumara told the Sunday Observer.

The results of this examination will be published on the website – slbfe.lk .

Medical tests for the applicants who have passed the examination are due to be held from May 26.

The job interviews for the successful applicants would be held on June 6, 7, and 10 at provincial offices of the SLBFE, he said.
