Building on an inspiring legacy that has transformed the accounting landscape since 1959, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) unveiled a special logo on Thursday to mark its 65th anniversary this year. The logo symbolises CA Sri Lanka’s rich heritage and unwavering commitment to professional excellence.
The logo represents CA Sri Lanka’s core values of collaboration, excellence, nurturing, and integrity, while highlighting its achievements over the past 65 years and its aspirations for the future.

Today the membership has grown to around 8,500, with 35% to 40% of our members working abroad in leadership roles.
To enhance interaction among our overseas members and those in Sri Lanka, we have established seven chapters in Australia, the UAE, Canada, the UK, Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain. “This year, we plan to set up three more chapters, in New Zealand and Ireland.”
It took 22 years since our inception to reach 1,000 members. By the time we celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2009, our membership had grown to 4,500.
“Over the next 14 years, over 4,000 additional members joined our profession, reflecting the next generation’s strong desire to pursue the successful careers our profession offers.”
