Esala Perahera procession of Singithi Pre-School children

Puttalam Kurunegala Road Willuva Waththa “Singithi Pre-School” children organised an Esala Perahera procession recently to mark Esala Poya day. The perahera was held under the guidance of the pre-school teacher-in-charge, Amitha Ethirisinha.

It started on the Puttalam Kurunegala Road and ended at the Visuththaarama Buddhist temple. The spectators who had gathered to see the perahera greeted the pre-school children.

The pre-school students also presented a memento to the Viharadhipathi of the Puttalam Sri Visudtharama Buddhist Temple, Mahagama Sudassi Thera for the successful completion of the Esala perahera.

Pre-school students along with their parents also participated in this perahera.
