Ananda College emerged winners in the boys’ schools category while Musaeus College emerged winners in the girls’ schools category in the division I all Island Inter-School Tennis Tournament for the Arjan Perera Memorial Trophy played at the SLTA courts last week.
Over 250 teams from 75 schools from the 11 regions of Jaffna, Batticaloa, Kandy, Matale, Kurunegala, Galle Ratnapura and Colombo participated.
Musaeus College and Ananda College were adjudged as the best tennis playing schools while Ave Maria Convent, Negombo was adjudged as the overall champions from the outstations.
