Things are heating up in the music scene with gigs all over the place and the good folks at Bakeriya Space are second to none in throwing a big ol’ concert. Rock Riot is happening on August 4 at 6 pm. Catch Local, Stringfield and Genetic Fallacy for a major night of rocking and rolling and moshing and screaming.
Why a Sunday gig? I can hear you ask. According to Local’s frontman Harsha Aravinda, the hardworking boys and girls of this country work six days a week because of austerity, leaving Sunday the only free day before the mad Monday rush.
The Bakeriya is being spruced up for the gig and Raja Ayyia’s gotten this cool new pool table if anybody is interested in playing some high-stakes eightball while the bands are sound checking (wink, wink).
