AIA Insurance hosted its Sales Convention 2024 at the Shangri-La Colombo recently under the theme ‘Wings Up – to fly beyond Everest’.
AIA CEO Chathuri Munaweera, Chief Agency Officer Chanaka Liyanage, the executive committee and the senior management were present.
For the first time, all nominees had the opportunity to invite their parents to share in their accomplishments. The attendees were recognised for their outstanding contributions.
Sanjeewani Somarathna of Kandy ADO was honoured as the Best Wealth Planner for the fourth consecutive year, with K. Piran (Kilinochchi) and Yashoda Rupasinghe (Gampaha) securing first and second runner-up positions. The Best Wealth Planners’ Manager award was won by Thuraj Aponso of Colombo Region 5, while Upul Indika Samaranayaka (Moneragala branch) and S. N. Athukorala (Tissamaharama ADO) were first runner-up and second runner-up.
Krishan Dassanayake of the Panadura City ADO won the Best Cluster Wealth Planners’ Manager Award.
Thakshila Koralage of Moratuwa ADO was the first runner-up while Chandana Priyantha of Horana Region 01 was the second runner-up.
The Best Three Tier Manager Awards was presented to Priyantha Dias of Moratuwa ADO, while Sirimal Pieris (Colombo Main 1) and Ransilu Perera (Moratuwa ADO) were first runner-up and second runner-up.
