SriLankan Airlines continued their dominance in travel trade swimming when they swept the board thus retaining the Men’s and Women’s titles at the 34th Travel Trade Sports Club Swimming Championship 2024, sponsored by Trip Fusion DMC that concluded on August 24, at the Thurstan College Pool.
The meet with 128 participants from 15 TTSC member firms, consisting 50 events, in four age categories under Novices, Championship and Veterans was conducted by a team of officials assigned by the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union (SLASU).
Results:
Men’s Championship Placings (first five): SriLankan Airlines (116 points) followed by Galle Face Hotel, Island Adventures, Cinnamon Wild, Yala and Aitken Spence Travels.
Women’s Championship Placings (first five): SriLankan Airlines (135 points), followed by Resplendent Ceylon, Aitken Spence Travels, Hayleys Leisure and Galle Face Hotel.
Chaminda Dias, Managing Director, Trip Fusion DMC was the Chief Guest and he along with the TTSC Officials, President, Dilshan Gnanapragasam, Vice Presidents, Shan Perera and Adrian Jansz presented the awards.
