Road adjacent to Temple Trees re-opened

The road from the Kollupitiya mosque adjacent to Temple Trees to the Rotunda roundabout was reopened to the public and the security booths on both sides of the road were dismantled by the Colombo Municipal Council. The road had been closed for almost 19 years since 2005 due to security reasons. The new Government has instructed that the road be reopened which had been inaccessible for a long time, after reviewing the current security situation. | Pic: Chinthaka Kumarasinghe
