The Ambassador’s visit underscored a commitment to bolstering Sri Lanka’s agricultural exports, particularly in organic products destined for the lucrative US market.

CAP Ceylon’s USDA organic-certified products are well-positioned to meet the high standards and preferences of American consumers. By helping businesses such as CAP Ceylon access international markets, we are investing in a shared future of prosperity and opportunity,” said the Ambassador.

She also addressed critical issues faced by Sri Lankan farmers, particularly concerning water scarcity and financial constraints.
