My pet Wolf
Is a cute little cat
Though his name is Wolf
He’s pleasing as a lamb
My parents brought him to me
To replace a wolf’ I lost
He doesn’t catch mice
But jumps on flies
He never has a meal
Without fish or meat
He climbs on to my shoulder
And peeps into my plate
The piece of fish on my plate
Is compelled to go to his plate
Cats tress-passing in our compound
Sneaks into Wolf’s plate
He doesn’t mind
He allows them to eat
Such a nice wolf he is
