Richmond College and Southland College Galle emerged boys and girls champions respectively in the under-16 hockey championships that were held at the Baddegana Sports Complex in Galle last week.
Richmond College beat St. Aloysius College 2-nil in the boys’ final while Southland College beat Sri Sumangala College 3-1 in the girls’ final.
The Southern Provincial Schools Under-16 Schools Hockey Championship was organized by the Galle District Hockey Association with 17 school teams in action.
