The Sultanate of Oman celebrated the 54th anniversary of its National Day at the Lotus Ballroom, Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo recently under the patronage of Ambassador of Oman to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Ahmed Ali Said Al Rashdi. The chief guest was Governor of the Western Province, Hanif Yusoof, who cut the anniversary cake with Ambassador Al Rashdi. Diplomats, former Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, Members of the business community, Armed Forces and Oman Embassy officials were also present.
