An agreement to play the Mahinda versus Richmond inter school cricket match as a three-day encounter from 2025 onwards will be signed on December 16 at the Olcott Hall of Mahinda College.
The agreement will be signed by Janaka Peduruhewa, Principal of Mahinda College and P.S. Pushpakumara, Principal of Richmond College, along with the secretaries of the Old Boys’ Associations of both schools.
The match is called the Lovers’ Quarrel and is set to be played for the 120th time next year.
The three-day encounter will take place on April 3, 4 and 5, 2025 at the Galle International Cricket Stadium, hosted by Mahinda College.
