SLIIT leo club’s සන්හිඳයාත්‍රා, Project promote harmony through religious and cultural engagement.

On 14th December 2024, as part of the “Peace, Religious, and Cultural Activities” සන්හිඳයාත්‍රාPhase 1 was successfully conducted at the Korathota Arunaramaya Dasa Sil Matha Ashramaya in Kaduwela. The morning began with the participation of devotees in the temple’s Poya Day program, a sacred observance where attendees offered milk coffee and biscuits to devotees observing Sil.

The monks, in return, bestowed blessings upon the participants, including members of the Leo Club, and conducted Pirith chanting to foster spiritual enrichment.

Along with these ceremonial aspects, the program also included the distribution of books to the devotees. The event concluded with the offering of Pirikara, essential items needed by the monks, as well as supplies required for the temple’s daily activities, ensuring both spiritual and material support.
