Cargills (Ceylon) PLC has adopted two ambulances in support of the 1990 Seriya Foundation’s “Adopt an Ambulance” program, aimed at increasing access to emergency healthcare services across Sri Lanka.

The first refurbished ambulance is currently serving Achchuveli in the Jaffna region, providing essential emergency medical services. The second refurbished ambulance, recently deployed in Kilinochchi, will further strengthen healthcare access in the Northern Province.

Set up in 2016, 1990 Suwa Seriya is a national ambulance service providing free pre-hospital emergency care across the island. By stepping forward to support this noble cause, Cargills underscores its commitment to bolstering the nation’s healthcare infrastructure and ensuring swift access to emergency medical services for all Sri Lankans.
