IDB to strengthen HR systems

The Industry Development Board (IDB) has partnered with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Sri Lanka to enhance its human resource framework, with a focus on developing job descriptions and establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for over 600 employees.

The launch took place at the IDB Head Office, Katubedda, Moratuwa on April 4. The collaboration will be led by CIPM Consultant and Industry Specialist, Prasanna Liyanaarachchi, who will guide the implementation process and deliver targeted training to IDB staff.

IDB Chairman Ravi Nissanka, Director General Suranga Gunarathne, and Board Members Dr. N.C. Sapumanage, Sujith Bombuwala, Gamini Wijekoon, and Mangala Silva were present.

Representing CIPM were Director, Professional and Academic Affairs, G. Weeratunga, Head, Sustainability and Facility Management, Chandima Pinsiri and Manager, Business School Operations, Ms. Lashika Liyanaarachchi.
