A total of 45 First Class cricketers have been awarded their annual contract by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) for the 2025 Domestic Cricket Season as part of their ambition to strengthen the country’s talented pool players.
The Executive Committee of SLC took this initiative under the leadership of their president Shammi Silva that aims to support and develop promising first class cricketers.
These contracted players have been grouped into four categories—A, B, C and D based on selections made by the selectors of SLC.
Category ‘A’:
Dhananjaya Lakshan, Lahiru Madushanka, Nipun Ransika, Shevon Daniel, Ahan Wickramasinghe, Niroshan Dickwella, Isitha Wijesundera, Nimesh Vimukthi, Tharindu Ratnayake, Nipun Dananjaya, Nisala Tharaka, Kamil Mishara, Ashen Bandara, Ravindu Fernando, Chamika Gunasekera, Wanuja Sahan, Lasith Croospulle, Vishad Randika, Dinura Kalupahana, Lasith Embuldeniya.
Category ‘B’:
Sanoj Dharshika, Kavishka Anjula, Dilum Sudeera, Ashian Daniel, Ron Chandraguptha.
Category ‘C’:
Kaveen Bandara, Muditha Lakshan, Ravindu Rashantha, Thanuka Dabare, Mohammed Shamaaz, Janishka Perera, Sohan de Livera, Sahan Kosala, Shammu Ashan, Duvindu Tillakaratne.
Category ‘D’:
Nalin Priyadarshana, T.M. Sampath, Chanaka Komasaru, Roshan Wijenayake, Gayan Maneeshan, Roscoe Thattil, Nipun Karunanayake, Irosh Samarasooriya, Dushan Vimukthi, Lakshan Sandakan.
