OKI International School has achieved extraordinary recognition at the Cambridge School Recognition Awards – South Asia 2025 held on March 27 at Taj Surajkund Resort & Spa in New Delhi.

The award was presented by Prof. Mark Winterbottom of the Faculty of Education of University of Cambridge and Ms. Shruti Kapoor, the Vice President – Marketing at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, South Asia.

This achievement has solidified the school’s status as a trailblazer in progressive education. The school was honoured with the “Integrated Learning Award”, a testament to its pioneering efforts in interdisciplinary education that seamlessly blend academic rigour with real-world relevance.

Additionally, OKI International School was named a finalist in the “Diversity and Inclusion Award” category, celebrating its exceptional dedication to creating an equitable and inclusive learning environment for all students.

The “Integrated Learning Award” acknowledges the school’s innovative approach to education, which transcends traditional classroom boundaries.

Drawing inspiration from Educational Philosophers’ that literacy in itself is no education”, the school aims to cultivate the full potential of its students, nurturing not only academic knowledge but also character, creativity and spirituality through sports, arts, clubs, & societies.

The students have been guided to engage in transformative community projects like the “Sihina Nivahana” housing initiative and the “OKIan IT Piyasa” laboratory donation.

As a finalist for the Diversity and Inclusion Award, the school demonstrated its commitment to cultivating unity through multi-cultural events, religious harmony programmes, where students from diverse backgrounds thrive.

In addition, the Learning Support Unit (LSU) assists students who require additional academic support to thrive in a mainstream educational setting. Whether it is through individualized learning plans, specialized tutoring, adaptive teaching methods, or tailored examination and assessments, the LSU ensures that students receive the support they need to access the curriculum in ways that work best for them.

We also cater to the students by having a Special Needs Unit. For students with more specific or profound special needs, the SNU offers a specialized environment that is better equipped to address their unique learning challenges.

This unit provides individualized attention from specially trained educators, offering one-on-one instruction, therapeutic support, and adaptive tools to help students achieve both academically and socially.

The Cambridge accolades underscore OKI International School’s role as a benchmark for innovation in education.

By prioritizing holistic development, the institution has not only elevated student outcomes but also inspired peers across the region to reimagine learning paradigms.
