Guess what Kids! Have you been to the Dehiwala Zoo recently? If you love animals, you will get to see some new guests brought to our island from all around the world. Our Zoo will have three new zebras and two pairs of giraffes from Africa, three anacondas from France, Mandarin ducks and two giant turtles as part of an exchange program. In return, we have sent two pairs of toque macaques (monkeys), a pair of giant squirrels, a pair of hippopotamuses, a pair of fishing cats, a Green Pit Viper and a Russell’s Viper! Don’t forget to check out the latest animal additions the next time you visit the Zoo with your family and friends.
