The 34thAnnual General Meeting of the Alumni Association of the University of Peradeniya-Colombo Chapter (AAUPCC) was held at the main auditorium, Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration, Colombo 7 on Sunday, March 30.
A past President of AAUP Colombo Chapter, D.P. Mendis PC was the chief guest while Chief Secretary of the Western Province, Ms. Dhammika Wijayasinghe was the guest of honour.
The following office-bearers were elected for 2025/2026:
President: Palitha Siyambalapitiya, General Secretary: Chandika Indikadahena, Treasurer: S.M. Gnanarathna, Vice Presidents: Jagath Dahanayake, Ranjith De Alwis, Kumudini Kulatunga, Eeasha Nanayakkara and Hasantha Palihakkara, Assistant Secretaries: Shyamalie Perera and Yamuna Abhayawardhane, Assistant Treasurer: Ranjith Karunaratne, Co-Editors: P. Balasingham, Neliya Fernando and Fareeza Ghazzali, Coordinator: Chathuranga Weerasinghe, Auditor: S.C. Mayadunne.
A 21-member Council of Management was also elected.
