Devapathiraja College, Rathgama beat P. De S. Kularathna College, Ambalangoda by seven wickets in the fourth annual Battle of the Warriors Inter-School Big Match played at the Galle Stadium yesterday.
P. De S. Kularathna College scored 189 runs in 78 overs. Skipper Sasindu Kaushan scored 55 runs in 120 deliveries with six boundaries and a six. In reply, Devapathiraja scored 297 in 75.3 overs.
P. De S. Kularathna College trailing by 108 runs were bowled out for 162 in their second innings.
Devapathiraja raced to their target convincingly as they made 57 for three and went on to record their first win in the Big match series.
