Nizran Nillar, Sri Lanka’s fearless flanker from Sri Lions Sports Club was honoured with a special felicitation and cash award by his club for his outstanding performances in national colours.
Nizran played a key role in Sri Lanka’s 59-19 victory against Malaysia in the Asian Rugby Emirates Championship Playoff, helping the national side secure a place in the Asian Rugby Top Tier.
He also proudly represented the country in the historic two-match series against the visiting New Zealand Under-85kg team in Kandy and Colombo, showing tremendous courage on the field.
