Lanka Special Steels Ltd. (Lanka SSL), a manufacturer of galvanised steel wires launched its latest product brand, Lanka SSL Agri-Gold, a new range of GI wire and barbed wire to meet the specific needs of the farming community.
To mark the launch, Lanka SSL, conducted an awareness program for office-bearers of the Govi Jana Sangam in Embilipitiya, with the support of the Embilipitiya Agrarian Development Centre.
The initiative aimed to educate local farmers on the benefits and applications of quality GI and barbed wires in agriculture, including their role in enhancing farm security, fencing, and crop protection.
The event also featured a networking session with 60 dealers in Embilipitiya, providing them with firsthand insights into the Lanka SSL Agri-Gold product range.
Lanka SSL Director/CEO Pravin De Silva said, “With Lanka SSL Agri-Gold, we are reinforcing our commitment to Sri Lanka’s agricultural sector by providing superior-quality steel wires that farmers and agribusinesses can rely on.”
