The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), in collaboration with the New Zealand High Commission, conducted a seminar on ‘Market Access for Agricultural Products to New Zealand’ at the EDB premises in Colombo recently.
A large number of stakeholders, including exporters, producers, officials of Government agencies, and industry professionals were present.
This initiative aimed to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge of market entry strategies and phytosanitary regulations required for accessing the New Zealand market. Deputy High Commissioner of New Zealand to Sri Lanka, Ms. Isaak Gabriel encouraged Sri Lankan exporters to explore this dynamic market, noting that New Zealand was keen to welcome high-quality agricultural products that comply with its regulatory standards.
